Brix or the dry substance in terms of customer states approximately how many kg of tomatoes have been used to produce the paste.Brix of Tomato Paste in general is 28-30. (Means obtaining 1 kg of tomato paste from approximately 6 kg of tomatoes.)Brix of Mashed Tomatoes is between 11-24 %. Low amount of brix is the indication of lesser consistency and consequently lesser amount of tomato usage.
